With a hatchback...would a trailer hitch bike rack or a roof mounted bike rack be better. I'm short, so.... - hitch mount bike rack

I say, the assembly of the connection is better, especially if you have concerns, like the bike on the roof for you. Most devices have a matching function, which reduces to a corner to open on the back / tail. Yakima and Thule know.

I would like to use a roof mounted. But what kind of window we talk back. If a Golf or something to go with the roof, if it is available to an SUV-type coupling with his van. Or just buy a rack mounted w / o trailer hitch.

If you adjust the bike in the car is probably the best.
Otherwise I would have with the trailer hitch. I'm too short, and try to make a put up on a grid that I get on a ladder.

One thing on a roof, if you have enough space when passing through the parking lot.

I've seen a lot more accidents with blanket that I have with holders trailer hitch. In view of the design team and now you have more flexibility with it.

1. If you are short then easily mount or door is better.
2. If you survive your bike when you are on the road Friday afternoon for a walk to get finished then a car roof.
